Travelling Bolero
I love to travel. I love seeing new places, revisiting familiar ones, and catching up with the people I love who are spread out around the world.
Hopefully we can get back in the air and on the road again soon. But in the meantime, this eye-catching little piece is my ode to the travel I miss so dearly. It’s my idea of the perfect travel project - small and
easy to get the hang of, it makes for an easy, interesting knit to take on the road with you.
Then once it’s done, the jacket is a lovely little flexible piece that you can keep in your bag and throw on when it’s a little too chilly in the air conditioning on the plane, or when you want to jazz up a simple outfit.
If you would like extra help to make this, or a preview of how it knits up, there is a full video tutorial available on YouTube.

From my testers:
“The mosaic was challenging enough to keep me interested but not so hard that I was having to battle with it.” -- Chelsea
“Great easy knitting that produces such a squishy & textured shawl. A comfort knit that I can work on mindlessly once rhythm is established, and be amazed at the colour changes from the yarn. I’m constantly looking forward to the next colour change.” --Jenni
“ I love it! First time doing mosaic and it was good fun to learn the technique.” --Lisa
“It’s a nice small project that can be completed reasonably quickly. Great for a knitter who is moving on from scarves and beanies and want to try something a bit bigger but not as ambitious as a sweater or cardigan.” --Wendy
