Looking for the perfect summer cardigan? The Treble Maker Cardi works up quickly, so you’ll be wearing it in no time! It’s perfect for layering over a tank top or sundress, when you want just a little bit of coverage without being too warm. Included in the pattern are detailed written instructions, stitch charts, customization options and permission to sell finished items with designer credit.
You will need:
-Two colours of DK weight yarn - Colour A (contrast): 235-455 yds Colour B (main): 425-780 yds
this pattern was designed using Feisty Fibres Defiant DK yarn (100% superwash merino), but testers used a variety of yarns with different fibre content including cotton, bamboo, acrylic and silk
-5.5mm crochet hook, or size needed to obtain gauge
-Measuring Tape
-Scissors
-Stitch Markers (4)
-Blocking Mat and Pins (optional)
-Yarn Needle
Techniques:
Treble crochet, foundation single crochet, seaming, wet blocking.
Gauge and blocking:
Meeting and maintaining gauge is essential for this pattern to fit as intended. Varying tension will significantly affect the measurements of your finished project. Blocking your gauge swatch prior to starting your project is recommended to ensure that finished measurements are accurate with your chosen fibre.
Untested Sizes:
This pattern includes instructions for women’s sizes XS - 5XL as per Craft Yarn Council standards (bust sizes from 28” - 63”). Currently, size 5XL is UNTESTED and has been published based on estimates and feedback from the tested sizes.
