30% bamboo; 236 yd / 1.75 oz): #2793 stormy (blue; CC), 2 (2, 3, 3, 3, 3) skeins (see Notes).

NEEDLES Sizes 2 (2.75 mm) and 4 (3.5 mm): 24″ circular and set of double-pointed. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

NOTIONS Markers; stitch holders; tapestry needle; five (six, six, six, six, seven) 3/8″ buttons.

GAUGE 27 sts and 36 rows/rnds = 4″ in St st on larger needle; 27 sts and 32 rnds = 4″ in charted patt on larger needle.

NOTES These yarns have been discontinued. Choose yarns of a similar weight and fiber content.

This pullover is worked from the top down. The back is worked separately back and forth from the shoulders to the underarms and the stitches are placed on holders. Stitches for the front are picked up along the back shoulders and cast on for the neck; the shoulders are shaped using shortrows, then the fronts are worked to the underarms. The pieces are then joined and worked in the round to the lower edge. Stitches for the sleeves are picked up around the armhole and the sleeves are worked from the top down in the round with short-rows to shape the sleeve cap.
