Offered in 3 adult sizes for male or female. Design features include: Irish moss stitch outer edges, ‘Tree of Life’ welt, v-neck, mirror-image framed rope cables in front & framed claw cable in center back, zig-zags in travelling twisted sts, directional ‘mock cable’ dividing lines, short-row shoulder shaping, p/u button band & 1-row buttonholes. For experienced knitters in cable/texture stitches and good chart readers.
This unique design features mirror-image symmetry on cable and crossed sts and a coordinating centered cable variation on the back.
Vest is worked flat in one piece, from the bottom of the welt to the start of armhole shaping, then divides at armholes & finished in 3 sections. It begins with a 4(5,6) repeat-deep ‘Tree of life’ welt which, with careful placement of increases during set-up, flows naturally into the cable & twisted rib vertical motifs above it. Although it may seem complicated at first, once the main patterns are under way it all falls logically into place.
