Tree of Love Afghan
Also available as a crochet pattern here: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/tree-of-love-heir...
Skill level: Easy
This tree of love afghan represents a family tree that continually grows with the passage of time and growth of love. Either made for a newlywed couple or a new addition to the family, this afghan can be passed down through the ages as the family tree grows.
This beautiful afghan is the perfect size to fit the crib of a precious little one or rest on the couch or chair of a new couple. Made with simple stockinette and bobbles, this blanket is easy to work up.
The bobbles were specially chosen for their simple construction and they can be easily reverse knit so the blanket does not need to be turned for each bobble.
The afghan includes full written instructions as well as a chart.
Finished Measurements:
approx. 52” x 52”
Yarn Recommended
approx. 1800 yards of medium worsted weight yarn
Tools Recommended
US 8 (5mm) 40” circular needles
The blanket pattern is in .pdf format so you will need Adobe Reader to open the document and print it.
Just a quick reminder, this is my original design and this pattern is not to be copied and reproduced for monetary purposes, I’d love if you made as many as you liked for yourself or to give as gifts, or even sell for profit (see store policies for more on this), but please do not make copies of the pattern. Thanks!
