This is the 16th in a series of 21 patterns for little decorated Christmas trees which can be sewn together to make a festive wall hanging. The pattern for the basic trees is published separately. The pattern includes both written instructions and a chart.

This decoration is one of my favourites. It’s worked in Fair Isle and features the traditional weaving pattern called houndstooth.
