Trellis: ‘a framework of light bars chiefly used as supports for fruit trees and growing plants’. The simple lace on the front of these socks mimics such structures, and with the purl bumps on each side, these socks fit snuggly on your feet while you go off on all sorts of adventures..

Yarn- Sample was knit with Knit Picks Stroll Tonal (75% super-wash merino wool, 25% nylon; 462 yards per 100 grams) in the Borealis colorway. Any 100 gram skein of fingering will do.

Gauge- 32sts X 56 rows in stockinette stitch.

Needles- U.S 2 (2.75mm) 32’’-40’’ circular needle for magic loop, or whatever needle size needed to obtain gauge.

This pattern contains instructions for my Garter Short Cut Heel- a heel construction that requires no short rows.
