Trellis Xtra Cowl is unique:

• the special stitches create a thick and “squishy” fabric that is warm and toasty
• the borders are created not with rib, but with rounds of giant cross stitches
• make this to whatever size you prefer - a multiple of 6 stitches is all that’s required!

Features:

• a variation on traditional crochet “cross-stitch” adds to the thickness and texture of the design
• the “cross-stitch”, in combination with the basic half stitch creates the look of a garden trellis which fills in the centre between the 2 borders
• The borders are framed by rounds of back loop stitches, to help elevate the design above the ordinary.

Requirements:

• 140m/155yd DK (8ply) / #3 weight yarn
• 5mm hook
• (Optional 4.5mm hook for 1st round)
• Tapestry needle to sew in the 2 ends NOTE: Exact gauge is not vital
