Trending Now is the last (for now!) in a series of patterns I designed using gold silk for the tie’s design. This particular pattern uses 100% silk throughout, yielding a gorgeous fabric with drape and sheen that work perfectly for a necktie. Trending Now is a great-looking tie, and once blocked, it shines as only silk can. The stitches are fine, and people find it hard to believe the tie is hand-knit! You can knit this in-the-round, or knit it flat and seam up the back. Either way, you will love this project.
