Who says an item that keeps you warm has to be plain? If you’re a fashion-conscious gal, you’ll really appreciate this pretty but practical neck warmer when the snow starts flying!

This can be worn with the button at the side, on the shoulder. It’s also wide enough to be worn as a short wrap or capelet. Worsted weight yarn is doubled, using 2 strands of yarn. I only did this because I wanted this color but couldn’t find it in a thicker yarn. You could use a bulky wt yarn instead of the 2 strands of worsted wt. Or, for a smaller, shorter neckwarmer, you could use just 1 strand of yarn in worsted or dk wt. It’s worked beginning at the side, which is the shorter end, and if you do use 1 strand or a smaller wt yarn, all you have to do is add more rows.
Instructions are also given for creating a taller and wider wrap.
