My very first pattern oh these many years ago. Based off an old baby book stitch from the 1950’s, I tweaked this to make it look more modern and to use much bigger needles. Lace panels are interspersed with garter stitch, going from stockinette to reverse stockinette, creating a totally reversible shawl. This shawl can be made with any sock weight yarn.
