Tresser Cowl is a unisex, bulky or chunky cowl featuring the Saxon Braid cable stitch pattern. This design is intended to be a quick knit suitable for gifts, whether for Christmas, New Year’s or Valentine’s Day.

The pattern is designed for a single skein of bulky/chunky yarn. For a taller, wider cowl, you can use super bulky yarn too!

The pattern is both written and charted.

Finished Measurements:
20” (51 cm) wide and 6” (15 cm) high

Yarn:
Eden Cottage Yarns Pendle Chunky (100% Superwash Merino wool; 109 yards 100 meters/100 grams): Steel, 1 ball.

Needles:
Size US 10 (6 mm): 24” (60 cm) circular Or size needed to obtain gauge.

Notions:
Removable stitch marker, tapestry needle or crochet hook for weaving in ends, cable needle (optional).

Gauge:
15 sts and 24 rnds = 4” (10 cm) in cable patt, after wet blocking.

Techniques:
3-st and 4-st cables, knitting in the round
