Tri-Color Cable Socks
This is a multi-color cable sock that has the cuff knit flat and then the rest of the leg and sock are knit in the round. This is a fantastic project to use up those scraps of sock yarn that we all have left over from our other socks! This pattern uses around 70 grams of the main color and 10 grams each of three contrasting colors. This project looks great using three different colors for the cables and would also look fantastic using three shades of one color for the cables. Either way, this is a cool and fun pair of socks!
The gauge is 8 stitches per inch knit stockinette in the round using 2.25mm needles and 2.5 inches for one full cable pattern repeat knit flat using 2.5mm needles. This sock is written for 64 stitches but can be easily adjusted by lengthening or shortening the cable cuff or adding more or fewer stitches when making the leg.
I hope you enjoy this fun way to use up some of your leftover bits of sock yarn!!
