Oldies but Goldies – It’s Time to Say Goodbye!

As you may know, I strive for perfection in both my knitting and pattern writing.

When I started 11 years ago, my pattern writing skills weren’t as developed as they are today. While these older patterns aren’t bad, they are written in “old style” (and sometimes not so easy to follow as I wish) and no longer meet my current standards and many are not size-inclusive.

The Princess Lines create the appearance of a custom-tailored piece of high value and cut a fine figure. Extra long sleeves with a cuff to be turned up.

Triangle is a classic knit with set in sleeves and pockets, knit in parts from the bottom up. It is fitted by bust darts and darts in the back as well as waist shaping at the sides. The front band with button holes is worked. Please note: this pattern is written in european style - no row-by-row instructions - and is therefore not recommended for beginners.

Material
Any yarn matching the gauge. The cardigan should have a certain solidity to emphasize the character of a jacket. I would recommend to knit rather tightly and not to use a very smooth yarn.

Yarn requirement approx. 1100-1250-1350-1500-1650-1850 y

Circulars 80-100cm, 4mm (US6) or size to get gauge, thinner needle (2-3mm) to pick up stitches
5 buttons, sewing needle, scrap yarn or stitch holder
