One of my favirite holiday deserts is the Trifle, Theirs is somethings so festive about the it,,each spoonfull unlocks a diffrent combination and taste that is a delight for the taste buds, Like this decedent desert the Trifle Advent Shawl is designed by repeating 8 layers of 4 differenet stitch patterns. it is super easy to knit and a delight to look forward to after opening each days advent.

You will need 24 20g mini or scraps to create this shawl. You could also decide to use a sigle color for each section as it repeat (4 differnet colors) and come up with a completly differnt look for the pattern.

I have included a list of how many grams is needed per color section. The pattern is written in an easy to follow row by row chart that is color coordinated to easily keep tract when you have to change colors.

This is the perfect pattern to lean some easy lace. The design uses a combination of lace, texture, garter, and stockinette to create an elegant Shawl.
