Trinity
Pattern is only available as part of the book, which is for sale used on various online sites.
Description from the designer:
“Trinity stitch is thought to be so named because the pattern is formed by working three stitches from one, and then one from three, thus signifying the holy trinity. Whether this numerical relationship between stitches has any true religious significance, however, is a matter of pure speculation.
The side panels, sleeves and collar of this highly textured dress are worked in trinity stitch, while the centre shows one example of the various openwork patterns which the Aran knitters frequently worked into their designs. In this case, it is bordered by wishbone cable, marriage lines and bobble strips.“
