Materials

  • Kolláge Yarns Riveting Worsted (worsted weight; 95% cotton/5% other; 163 yds/100g per hank): 6 (7, 8, 8, 9, 10) hanks coral reef #8111
  • Note: The yarn used to make the sample garment is designed to be machine-washed and dried in a dryer, which will cause it to shrink (like a pair of jeans). The shrinkage only affects the lengthwise dimensions.
  • Size 8 (5mm) straight and 16-inch circular needles or size needed to obtain gauge
  • Cable needle
  • Stitch holder
  • Stitch marker

Gauge
17 1/2 sts and 24 rows = 4 inches in St st, before washing and machine drying.
17 1/2 sts and 27 rows = 4 inches in St st, after machine washing and drying.
Note: The shrinkage is approx 12 1/2 percent (lengthwise only) after machine washing and drying.
To save time, take time to check gauge.
