Triple Mock Cable Sweater
The pattern is available here after you join TKGA.org for $35 per year, possibly the best deal in the knitting world.
This crew-neck sweater, worked in one piece from the neck down, uses an Alpine cabling technique consisting entirely of 1x1 crossovers in which the knit stitch on top is always twisted to create added relief. The pattern involves crossovers on every row, not just every other row as is typical for Aran cabling. Working the sweater entirely in the round from the neck to the waist facilitates working these stitches since the right side is always facing. This construction method is further described in a related article in this issue, “Phrancko’s Seamless Set-in Sleeves,” the Learn Something New article in the same issue.
