Triton Shawl
Inspiration from the Aegean Sea depths, in organic seaweed shapes fanning out from a center spine of embellished dropped stitches. Triton is constructed in two identical halves, using 3 skeins each for the Wide version, 2 skeins each for the Narrow, beginning from a center Trident Stitch lace column, with side columns added by casting on additional stitches.
Materials Spiral Grain Sport, 4 (6) skeins, 
 shown in Elderberry 
Sizes 1 Narrow (2 Wide) with 75”/191 cm length, 
 10 (16)”/24.5 (41) cm 
Needles US 4/3.50 mm circular, 40”/100 cm, or any length 
 suitable, or size needed to obtain gauge 
Notions Tapestry needle, stitch markers as needed, 
 row counter (optional) 
Gauge 27 sts x 32 rows in Trident Lace Stitch, unblocked 
 = 4”/10 cm, gauge is not crucial, but affects yarn usage.
