A true hand-painted yarn with little tendency to pattern becomes the perfect vehicle for painting with yarn. Simply alternate repeats of 1 color (A) with repeats of 2 colors (2 rows A, 2 rows B). Move into a repeat of B alone, and continue to progress through a range of colors.

The shawl is two long legs that are knit separately and then a mitered square is worked across their stitches to join them and complete the wrap.

Skill level: intermediate

Finished size: each leg is approximately 20” x 42” after blocking.

Yarn requirements: A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H 170 yards each; I 340 yards.

Colors: P105L (A), P628 (B), P221 (C), P205 (D), P471 (E), P470B (F), P518 (G), P741 (H), & P882B (I)

Pattern found on page 96.
