This slip stitch scarf is knitted with one plain and one variegated yarn. The plain colour is dominant on one side and the variegated on the other.

The pattern works best when there is a strong contrast between the two colours. I used about 75 g each of two DK weight yarns but other weights of yarn would work too.

The pattern repeat consists of four rows with the colour being changed every two rows.
