CONSTRUCTION
This striped Garter Stitch sweater is worked in pieces and sewn together in Mattress Stitch. The pieces (back, front and sleeves) are knitted flat from the bottom up. The neckband is worked by picking up stitches along the front and back neck edges after the shoulder seams are sewed together and worked in the round. Two patch pockets are knitted separately and sewn onto the front.
MODIFICATIONS
The sweater length can be altered by altering the length knitted before neck shaping begins.
