Try a Flight
Try a Flight is an introduction to the Craft Beer Collection. At the craft breweries, you can often order a flight, which is a small glass of several different beers, so that you can try the different varieties of beer that the brewery offers. Try a Flight is a way to sample the Craft Beer Collection.Try a Flight is a fingering weight cowl that uses many of the techniques and stitch patterns from the other patterns in the Craft Beer Collection. The cowl is worked in the round from each end, then joined, a little off center, by an I-cord bind off. Each side begins with 2 color brioche, then has 2 different lace patterns before joining the 2 sides together. The lace patterns are both charted and written out. There is also a video tutorial for the I-cord bind off to join the 2 sides. This is a fun cowl to knit. It goes fast and uses just a small amount of 3 different colors of fingering weight yarn.
The pattern was tech edited by Amy Johnson and photographed by Mary Feeney. Thank you to all of you for your help.
