Trysil is a doubleknit shawl with traditional Norwegian stars/snowflakes.

Trysil itself is a town in the mountains of eastern Norway. It is a famous ski resort, offering both downhill skiing and cross country trails.

It’s fully reversible, and the size is adjustable in pattern. It can be knit in a variety of yarn weights, from light fingering to DK - as shown, it’s knit in light fingering weight.

The pattern includes double knitting instructions for two different methods of double knitting - so it’s a great opportunity to try a new technique.

Yarn requirements:
(A) 2 skeins Anzula Haiku (80% bamboo, 20% superwash merino; 500 yds/457 m per 100 g) in toffee
(B) 2 skeins Anzula Haiku (80% bamboo, 20% superwash merino; 500 yds/457 m per 100 g) in au natural
(or similar yarn)
