Note
This simple stockinette cardigan with brioche accents is floaty and lightweight, allowing airy GENMOU to shine. Columns of brioche adorn the cardigan fronts and the center of the back, with decreases creating architectural interest. The cropped length showcases skirts, dresses, and high-waisted pants and makes the cardigan an ideal layering piece for transitional weather.

Tsubame is worked in one piece from the bottom up. After the body is split for the armholes, the fronts and backs are worked separately before being joined at the shoulders with a 3-needle bind off. The front brioche collar band continues around the neckline to meet at the back neck. Sleeves are picked up and worked downwards from the armholes in the round.
