Masterclass – Tubular Knitting
There is a way of knitting in the round that, for certain purposes, I find much quicker and easier than using four double pointed needles. Although it is possible to begin the method with and open cast on edge, one of its main advantages is that the cast on edge is normally automatically seamed together. With no seams at the side on a straight item, the only ends of yarn to be sewn in can be the starting and finishing ones, with no seams at all to be made. For those who hate sewing up, this will immediately sound like an advantage.
