Tulip Crochet Toddler Legwarmers
Add a little style, warmth and love to your toddler’s wardrobe with Tulip Toddler Legwarmers from designer Donna Childs. Donna gives us both a knit and crocheted version of this pretty and practical design. Stitched in two colors of bamboo-blend JOY!, these instant (machine washable!) fashion accessories will keep your tot toasty from playground to preschool.
Knit version databased on Ravelry here.
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Each legwarmer measures approximately 7”/18cm wide x 10”/25.5cm long, before seaming.
Notes: Legwarmers will stretch to fit a range of sizes. Size is easily adjusted (see Helpful section).
NOTES
- Each legwarmer is worked from side to side.
- All color changes are made on RS rows.
- To change color, work last stitch of old color to last yarn over. Yarn over with new color and draw through all loops on hook to complete the stitch. Proceed with new color. Carry color not in use up side of piece. Take care to cover carried strands when working cuffs.
HELPFUL
The size of the legwarmers is easily adapted. To adjust the length, begin with more or fewer foundation chains. To adjust the width, work more or fewer rows, maintaining the stripe pattern. Note that larger sizes will require more yarn.
