I love tulips in the Spring; they are my inspiration for this design. The tulip motif is designed with simplicity in mind with no long floats to manage. The tulips are bordered with blocks of Three-color Linen Stitch, providing texture and the illusion of a flower bed—a tulip garden. After knitting, the cowl is hand felted to the desired size, creating a smooth, slightly stiffer fabric, helping it hold its shape better when worn.
