“Tulips Season” is a classic sweater with a positive ease , in 4 colors, decorated with geometric-floral motifs made using the stranded knitting technique (only 2 colors per row)
alternating with simple lace stitches. It can be made with either elbow or 3/4 long sleeves. The pattern contains instructions for both versions. It is a top-down, circular yoke sweater. Gradual increases are made in the yoke up to the sleeves that will be put on hold onto holder or scrap yarn and then resumed later.
In the yoke a single chart containing the increases is followed.
The geometric-floral figures that decorate the yoke continue in a regular fashion also on the body and sleeves.
The result is a linear sequence of designs for a harmonious, regular and balanced whole.
“Tulips Season” comes in 11 sizes (from 86 to 180 cm 33.8 to 70.8“ bust circumference). The size guide and the table on PDF will help you choose the fit you prefer.

Needles and notions
Circular needles 3.5 and 4 mm/ US 4 and 6.
(cables 40, 60 and 100 cm 16, 24 and 40“ )
Cast on the collar with the shorter cable and then switch to the longer cable as you increase stitches. Use 60 cm 24” for sleeves and 100 40” for body.

GAUGE
23 stitches and 31 rows = 10X10 cm 4” in stockinette with needles 4 mm/ US 6. Maintain the same tension also in the colorwork part.

“Tulips Season” è un maglia classica dalla vestibiltà morbida, in 4 colori, decorata con motivi geometrico-floreali realizzati con tecnica stranded knitting (solo due colori per riga)
alternata a semplici punti traforati.
Si può realizzare sia con maniche al gomito che maniche a 3/4,
nel pdf trovi le istruzioni per entrambe le versioni.
È un modello lavorato in tondo dall’alto verso il basso, si eseguono degli aumenti graduali nello sprone fino ad arrivare alle maniche che verranno messe in sospeso su un filo per poi essere riprese successivamente. In questo modo non ci saranno cuciture.
Nello sprone si segue un unico schema contenente gli aumenti.
Le figure geometrico-floreali che decorano lo sprone proseguono in modo regolare anche nel corpo e nelle maniche. Il risultato è una sequenza lineare di disegni per un insieme armonioso, regolare ed equilibrato.
Nel pattern sono disponibili 11 taglie (da 86 a 180 cm di circonferenza busto),è pensato per una vestibiàita abbondante la guida alle taglie e la tabella nel PDF ti aiuteranno a scegliere la vestibilitá che preferisci.

MATERIALI
Ferri circolari 3.5 e 4 mm (cavi 40, 60 e 100 cm)
Inizia dal collo con il cavo più corto (40cm) e poi aumentalo gradualmente mano a mano che aumenti le maglie. Usa il cavo da 60 per le maniche e il cavo da 100 per il corpo.
