Tunisian Alloa Cowl
by Sue Pearson
Explore some simple Tunisian stitches to create a beautiful, functional cowl. I wanted to design something that was relatively straight forward, so that I could enjoy the rhythm of the stitches without constantly referring to the pattern. I used two balls of Scheepjes Softfun Denim. I’ve also made this with one 100g skein of hand-dyed dk yarn, adding picots to both edges.
Yarn: 2 x 50g/140m Scheepjes Softfun Denim (60% cotton 40% acrylic)
Hook: 6.5mm Tunisian crochet hook with extension cord, and a 4.5mm standard crochet hook for the picot edging.
