An easy cosy hat with a cable stitch impostor – it’s actually a slipped stitch pattern. Designed with a man in mind, but completely unisex.

Instructions are given to knit hat flat or in the round. Choose the needles for the style of knitting you prefer.

One size to fit an adult man’s head. When laid flat, hat is approximately 27cm long by 18cm wide

Knitting to a slightly tighter tension at 28sts x 28rows produces a hat 25cm long by 16.5cm wide when laid out flat, which is ideal for small/medium

Stitch pattern produces an extremely stretchy fabric
