Tutoyer is one of my most beautiful knits. A tailored Ziggurat pullover with deep ballerina neckline, this design is all about restraint and refinement. A stylised version of the Tree of Life
cable branches out to create the striking yoke with variations for front and back, and simple sleeve panels to match. I feel elegant in this sweater – even if I apparently knitted it for a smaller version of me. Sigiwu (blue sweater) chose the perfect size.

There is some (optional) waist shaping and a hip-friendly split hem.

• Ziggurat: everything is knitted in one go, top to bottom
• no seaming
• very few ends to weave in
• elegant cable with twisted stitches
• optional bust dart

As usual, there’s the Helpful Table to keep track of increases from shoulder to underarm cast-on.
