A quick project that gives you some experience with nupps without being overwhelmed. The cable and nupp motif graces only one side of the hat, so you’re not always cabling or nupp-ing. There’s even a video tutorial (linked in the pattern) to walk you through working the nupps with a crochet hook.

Because the shape of the hat is somewhere between a beanie and a beret, it minimizes hat hair if you wear it with a bit of positive ease. Win/Win!

Finished Measurements: Sizes S(M, L) measure 20(22, 24)” in circumference; Depth of hat is approx. 8.5” from ribbing to crown. Size M (22”) is shown. The model’s head measures to 19” in circumference.
