DETAILS
Twigs of forest is a sideways asymmetrical triangle shawl that is knitted corner to corner starting with 3 cast-on stitch. Increase of stitches is along one side of the shawl. The border and sides are worked in ribbing stitch. The body of shawl is worked in ribbing stitches that mimics twigs.

MATERIALS
Yarn: 5 skeins of Alpasocks by Glamourknits.ru (40% baby alpaca, 40% merino wool, 20% PA; 196 yds / 180 m - 50 g);

Alternative yarn: 4 skeins of Cumbria by The Fibre Company (60% Merino wool, 30% Masham wool, 10% Mohair, 238 yds / 218 m ‒ 100 g), or approx. 984 yds / 900 m of worsted weight yarn.

Needles: US 4/ 3,5 mm - US 6 / 4 mm - 36” / 90 cm or longer circular needle.

Also needs: Stitch markers, tapestry needle, blocking wires and pins.
