Twined Basket in Blue

I discovered this twined technique when I tried to make the Larus+Ardea mitts, and loved the sturdy fabric it creates. I also found a great book at our local library “Traditional Scandinavian Knitting” by McGregor (can’t remember first name at the moment) that includes this technique among others. If I can find a copy I am going to buy it!
I threw in the alternating stripes because I was experimenting, and used blue tees because I have so many in my stash and they are easy to find at the thrifts.
