A Half-Pi Shawl with Estonian Gathers, Leaves, Mesh and an optional crochet bind off.

This pattern is worked flat from the top down in charted form.

Instructions are given for two sizes (Large and Small) along with two different bind offs.(Standard and Crochet.)

Large – 58 inch wingspan, 25 inch drop. (145 cm by 62.5 cm)
Small – 44 inch wingspan, 20 inch drop. (110 cm by 50 cm)

Beads are added after knitting the stitch, with a crochet hook.

Suggested Gauges :

Lace: 29 sts and 28 rows to 4 inches 10cm in pattern after wet blocking. (Shown in Unplanned Peacock Studios Twinkle Lace, Bunting colorway, in the small with crochet bind off.)

Fingering: 23 sts and 24 rows to 4inches 10cm in pattern after wet blocking. (Shown in Valley Yarns Charlemont in the large size, with a standard bind off.)

Gauge is not critical to this piece, however knitters gauge will affect final dimensions and yarn useage.
