Twins is a traditional Shetland knitted lace stole. The design features a Brother and Sister motif worked on a garter base. The stole is made up of a central panel which is surrounded by a border. In designing this stole for a friend, I wanted to knit something that was traditional in design but that used linen rather than wool.
