Twirly Bird
If you were lucky enough to have a marionette as a kid, you may have been the envy of all your friends! Now you ccan have your own in less than one day! Its that simple!
Twirly Bird has a dynamite personality and a crazy style! She loves to dance and wiggle; her favorite move is a tail wave to a little 80’s pop music! She has a lot of sass and she’ll definitely “wind” her way into your heart!
This pattern uses basic amigurumi techniques and contains options for fun fur or loop stitch (brushed or loopy). Twirly is also constructed in such a way that losing your place or small errors will not affect the overall result. In fact variations in rows etc. can only make her more interesting and unique!!
Ideas are also included for tail variations; in fact, this pattern is so versatile that among my testers (some who made several) no one bird looks the same. They are truly one of a kind.
A wooden dowel cut into two 14” pieces is needed. No other drilling or hardware is required; everything is crocheted/chained/yarn bombed using what you already have on hand!
I hope you enjoy this pattern as much as I did, and I can’t wait to see your version of a finished Twirly!!!
