Twist Headband
I wanted to make a true “chillchaser” headband for my sister who lives in Vermont. It needed to be dense to keep the wind out, and in addition she is allergic to wool. So, my first choice was a chunky acrylic yarn. Lion Brand “Thick & Quick”. I added a lining to the ear & back parts for her as she needed the extra protection.
I then experimented with some of my own yarns, like Mischa chunky cashmere. (see picture of Misha in “Cranberry” ) This is quick project that makes a great gift.
