Twist Loop Top
TWIST_LOOP_TOP is a classic tank top worked in ribbing with an elegant cable detail on the front.
The top is worked from top to bottom in ribbing. First the shoulders are worked individually with increases for the neck. The 2 shoulders are then joined for the front piece by casting stitches on mid-front. The front piece is worked back and forth while also working cables mid-front and increases for the armholes. The 2 shoulders are worked on the back individually with increases for the neck, then the shoulders are joined for the back piece. The body is then joined and worked in the round in ribbing and with cables in the front. Neck sitches are picked up around the neck opening and the neckband is worked in the round in ribbing. For a lovely finish, the last four rounds are worked in double knitting, followed by Italian bind off. Finally, stitches are picked up around the armholes and finished with an i-cord edge.
