Knit in 4 pieces (front, back, two sleeves) and sewn together. Neck ribbing is picked up and knit on.

Designer’s Notes: This design with a deep fitted ribbing uses a twist stitch to thin the tummy and waist. It also features the same deep rib on gauntlet-style sleeves and modified turtleneck. There is a striking contrast between the fitted areas that thin and the draped areas that conceal. A square armhole gives both a strong and geometric line and extra roominess in teh armhole because the sleeve is dovetailed into the arm opening. Even so, it is still slim enough to fit under another sweater or jacket. The sweater is meant to be worn with medium ease, neither clingy nor baggy.
