Twisted Crocodile Stitch Keyhole Scarf
This pattern is
available for free.
This textured keyhole scarf measures 4” x 27” (10 cm x 69 cm) when completed. It uses a variation of the crocodile stitch, twisting the stitches to add a ruffled, textured appearance.
This project uses about 240 yards (219 m), so you can easily make two from just one skein of Galler Yarns Heather Prime Alpaca.
This pattern was tested by DaynawithaY, patriciaelizabeth, soxvixen, and ss9904. It takes about 4 hours to complete.
This is a written pattern using U.S. crochet abbreviations. There is a photo tutorial of the twisted crocodile stitch included at the end of the pattern.
Gauge: Row width = 4” (10 cm). Follow the pattern for 4” (10 cm) in length before measuring gauge.
