Twisted Fibonacci
by Nancy Totten
Twisted Fibonacci is a twist on Fibonacci numbers (pattern repeats in Fibonacci sequence alternate the main and contrasting colors and a literal twisted cowl (faux mobieus?).
It requires a provisional cast on, cables, knit in the round, worked with two colors, alternating pattern charts, and Kitchener stitch ends. Sounds complex, but works fast, creating a colorful, chunky and warm cowl.
Worked on US #7 (4.5mm) needles and using approx 220 yards each of 2 colors, it creates a double layered, soft and warm cowl. The pattern is written and charted.
