The Twisted Flow Socks combine the best of both worlds: intricacy and simplicity. Beautiful twisted stitches flow up both sides of the foot like small streams, surrounded by relaxing stockinette on toe, sole and heel and a simple knit-purl-stitch on the instep. The combination of these stitches make it an interesting, but not too difficult knit.

The pattern includes both written and charted directions.

This pattern is written for the magic loop method using a long circular needle. “Needle 1” will hold the top/instep stitches, “Needle 2” will hold the sole stitches. If using DPNs, “Needle 1” will be DPNs 1 and 2, “Needle 2” will be DPNs 3 and 4.
