A V-neck cabled cardigan is a time-honored classic. This one balances a striking original cable with wide sections of stockinette for ease of knitting and ease of wear. The undyed merino wool is soft and strong and goes with everything. It features some lovely embellishments like a pretty cabled transition from ribbing to stockinette and a V design on the back to mirror the front. The cabled saddle shoulder adds some structure to a soft yarn, making for easy sizing as there is no hard seam to line up with the edge of your shoulder. This cardigan is worked flat, bottom up and has a set-in sleeve.
