The twisted ladders hat was a fun hat I designed for my husband originally in the Araucania Huasco DK weight and eventually in Malabrigo Rios. Instructions for both weights are provided. This hat looks really cool in either a variegated or solid yarn.

Pattern is great for beginners, and a quick knit for more seasoned knitters. Hat can be more of a beanie or you can make it slouchier by repeating the pattern.

You should know how to knit, purl, work in the round, with double pointed needles, or magic loop.
