Yarn requirements:

Totem is a cable construction smooth 8ply or DK weight wool. You can substitute any similar weight that knits to the same tension/gauge and is suitable for an intarsia jumper. (Check the Totem 8ply listing here on Ravelry for weight and yardage.)

Alternatively, you could use the chart with the jumper pattern and gauge of your choice by doing some swatching and calculations.

How to get a copy of the pattern: Contact Smith’s or see comments section of this page here on Rav.

  • Patons Totem Merino 8 ply is still in production, according to Patons Australia, recommended shades are Red Glow (4419), Yellow (4413) and Igloo (4427). *
