This ingenious crochet vase covers a PET bottle to become a gorgeous vase and can be made in no time! It is great for a household refresh or a quick gift idea if you’re giving someone flowers.
The pattern has two variations, a sculptural two piece pattern with edges crocheted together or a smooth and curvy in the round pattern with no finishing at all. Take your pick or make both of them !

It only uses the simple single crochet stitch plus some increases and decreases. There are endless possibilities for colors and pattern combinations, including using up any stash yarn you already have in your house.

SKILL LEVEL : Beginner

YARN : Any Category 3/ 8 ply/DK yarn can be used, a stiffer yarn will produce the best results. You can also use a double strand of fingering/ 4 ply yarn.

YARDAGE : In the round vase : 130 metres / 142 yards
Two piece vase : 160 metres/ 175 yards
