Two In Clover is a basic, fingering weight sock with just enough lace to keep things interesting. Deceivingly easy to knit and memorize, the Clover Lace pattern is formed by trios of yarn overs.

Knit a pair as pictured, with the mirrored lace pattern tapering inward, or extend the lace pattern to the start of the toe.*

MATERIALS
Approximately 303 [376, 456] m/331 [411, 499] yd fingering weight yarn

Shown in Kinfolk Yarn and Fibre Elemental BFL Fingering (100% Superwash Bluefaced Leicester Wool; 400 m/437 yd per 100 g/3.5 oz skein) in colour Malachite

GAUGE
32 stitches & 48 rounds = 10 cm/4” in stockinette stitch, using smaller needles, after blocking

NEEDLES
One set 2.25 mm/US 1 needles* (or size needed to obtain gauge)

*Either one set of double-pointed needles (DPNs), two circular needles, or one long circular needle, as you prefer for small circumference knitting in the round.
