Two Roads Hat, Version Two
Now for the road less travelled….
The Two Roads Hat, Version Two, is worked top-down using the same mossy cluster stitch as Version One. But this time we’re adding a back loop only band, with plenty of slip stitch rows to give texture and wavy interest. Version Two also features decorative buttons and a detachable buttonhole strip (but may be embellished any way you choose).
Two Roads Version Two offers great scope for colour play - blog post includes suggestions for variations.
The free pattern includes charts, shorthand instructions, and instructions in plain English with phototutorial. A short video demonstrates the dc/hdctog used in Round 7 of the band.
